I'm Ready To Write My Screenplay

The glow of the cinema attracted you from a young age and bit you with the bug that so many of us are afflicted with. You've read books and screenplays to try to master the craft but you can never seem to get past act one.

You constantly go back and rewrite the script before you move on to the next act, and because of that, you have a drawer full of half-finished scripts.

This course will teach you everything you need to know to go from complete novice to completed screenplay within 30 days.

There's a way to master your craft, finish your screenplay and obtain your dreams.

I was just like you when I first started, and I desperately wanted a course like this to walk me through the steps I needed to finish a screenplay that was worth reading. I read every book on screenwriting, watched every film in AFI's Top 100 list, and I tried to meet new people in the industry like crazy.

I felt like I was pounding my head against a brick wall, hoping for a crack to appear. But it never did.

Where does a screenwriter even start?

That's what I will teach you in this course.

In 2011, my producing partner and I decided it was time to make the leap and produce our first film. We laid the ground work and put in long hours and late nights failing in many ways but getting one thing right, we were producing a film.

In 2017, after many years of battling depression and writer's block, I got back on track and set my mind to producing another feature film. This time we wanted to go bigger, something we could sell.

I set out with my producing partners and co-writer to create a horror screenplay in less than 3 months, all with an under-one year-old baby.

I went from wishing I could make a film...

Yeah. That's me and the Exit 44 Entertainment team on the front-page of Bloody Disgusting.

My scripts became Semi-Finalists and Finalists in contests like Final Draft Big Break, Sundance Episodic Story Lab, Screencraft and more.

So what changed?

I studied other independent filmmakers and worked to develop a strategy. I DECIDED to shoot a film. We chose a date and worked towards it using our system. A system I'll teach you

We went from no idea, to a finished script in less than three months. Within six months of having the idea and saying "Let's do it," we were on set, camera's rolling.

And you know what? You can do this too.

What if within the next six months you could...

  • Come up with a shootable, commercial concept. You don't have to stray from your voice as a writer to be successful.
  • Learn the process of outlining, breaking the story and crafting the script into 90-100 pages that can be shot on a low budget and produced by first time filmmakers like yourself.
  • Finish the script and prepare a shooting draft ready for production.
  • Be on set filming your movie.

You can make it real. I know, because I did it.

I wrote a script from concept to completed production ready draft within three months.

  1. Spend COUNTLESS hours and money trying to do it alone. Reading every book and watching every seminar on screenwriting. Consuming more than you're creating and wasting the next five years learning.
  2. Let someone who has travelled this path before be your guide. From Complete Novice to Completed Screenplay is your guided tour up the mountain of screenwriting. You'll learn how to craft a story, beat by beat and most of all complete a screenplay within 30 days of finishing the course.

In less than six months I went from having an idea for a script to having the entire film in the can.

Stop wasting time at a job you hate, dreaming of your perfect life as a screenwriter.

This course will force you to finish your screenplay.

Stop reading books on screenwriting only to be left without a solid strategy for finishing your script and getting it production ready.
